Garlic.
Peel a clove and carefully use a needle to run a loop of thread through it. Push it up inside like you would a tampon, and use the string to catch it when you need to take it out. Change it morning and evening. A friend's midwife told me about it when I had a yeast infection as a result of antibiotics, and it worked great.

Call your doctor and ask for a prescription for Fluconazole. It is one pill and it will make you feel better in one day. I've taken it many times.

My best advice for the immediate relief, is go to the drug store and buy some "relief." Also, try "air-drying" yourself.

But the big concern I have is that antibiotics do a number on eliminating your good gut bacteria as well (not just vaginal) and thus allowing yeast proliferation, so it is imperative that we take probiotics when we take antibiiotics.

Warm up a little plain yogurt and apply it directly.
You can add a cup of it to your bath - it's great for your skin all over.

What are you treating the yeast infection with? Call your doc if you haven't and get Diflucan or the generic if available. You need help fast.....I am a chronic sufferer and the stories I could tell. Anyway they can also perscribe Nystatin cream for the exterior. Works way better than any otc. Also apply some vaseline or Aquafor down there to prevent further irritation from sweating or going to the bathroom. Eat yogurt and start a probiotic fast.

Erithomycin (sp) does that to me every time I take (took) it. Other antibiotics don't do that to me. I would go to the pharmacy and get a OTC yeast infection cure. Also call your doctor to see if he(she) can prescribe something else.

eat lots of yogurt....& some women even apply it topically. LOL, but it works.

I use the OTC cream which you can buy at any pharmacy + consume lots of yogurt + avoid all sugar.

You can now get a single dose anti-yeast pill over the counter. Combine that with an over the counter anti-fungal cream with applicator and you will be feeling much better soon!

Vagisil will calm the burning ( but it will burn at first) but ease it. Call the doc for a prescription too. I hope you feel better.

Eat organic yogurt and put plain organic yogurt on the area it will help you also keep the area dry and let as much air as you can get to the area. I organic greek yogurt daily, I ran out just before Christmas and was so busy preparing for our family Christmas, shopping etc. I just forgot to eat it, I felt it starting so I immediately started eating and using the yogurt, the yeast infection is gone. Good luck and try not to scratch it that makes it worse. Don't use anything that holds moisture in such as ky jelly or vaseline or any oily products they will help the yeast to grow.

Like mentioned below....call in for Diflucan (one pill) and use something topical if you feel you need immediate relief. I wouldn't waste one second hoping that eating yogurt or topical yogurt would work. The infection is internal so it requires more than external yogurt or vinegar.

Since you know you have this reaction when taking the antibiotics, I would ask for the Diflucan prescription at the same time in the future.

The Diflucan worked for me, when nothing else would (topical stuff helped, but didn't get rid of it completely). But, I would also suggest eating a yogurt or two a day for at least a week after you've stopped the antibiotics. The infection can get in your undies and come back. A good hot or sanatize wash cycle can help with that. For future reference, whenever you start antibiotics you should just start eating yogurt.
