So my daughter teething and its the two bottom teeth that are coming out, One has already broken through and the other is right about there. My daughter has been so fussy, I went to the store I bought Orajel, those rings the baby bites on, Infant PediaCare, and it seems like the only way she sleeps is with the PediaCare, Other wise she up all night crying and fussing . But I don't want to keep giving her pediaCare, last night was the worst, she was up all night crying and just not having it at all. I tired rocking her, the Orajel, playing with her until final I just gave her PediaCare and fussed a little but went right to sleep.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?? She really doesn't like the teething ring and doesn't bother with it at all.

What can I do next?

My kids responded better to ibuprofen than tylenol, but either way, give her some medicine! If it works and you're not using more than the recommended dosage, why not?

You will only be giving her medicine for a couple of days at a time (for each tooth), so it's not like you are giving her an excessive amount of medicine. Hey, if I have a bad headache or cramps, I take medicine! When I had my c-sections, I took the drugs! I took less and less each day until I didn't need them any more, but I was not going to be in pain when there was medicine approved by my doctor to help me!

Give her the meds!!!

Those things never worked for my son. The only things that did was Tylenol, and Popsicles. It's okay to give your child something like Tylenol/Motrin for a few days if she is really miserable. Just do what works! Good luck!

ETA: If you can get some Otter Pops (long stick like Popsicle) and let her chew on it. My son liked to chew on those when he was that age. He just kinda gummed the outside but it felt good because it was frozen.

The only thing that worked with our kids when they were teething was children's Motrin/ibuprofen.

Hyland Homeopathic Teething Tablets. They worked pretty well.

Also have you tried putting the teething rings in the fridge/freezer?

You can also wet a wash cloth and freeze that for her to chew on.

But at the end of the day, just remember this will only last a week or two. :)

Its a phase.
If you had pain like that, well we wouldn't be happy either.

My kids as babies, liked to chomp on a frozen wash cloth.

Our Pediatrician said not to give Orajel or those numbing things... because it can also numb the throat.

Wet some baby washcloths.
Fold into quarters.
Place in a ziplock bag & freeze.
Get them out O. at a tome& let her chew on them.

I always have the appropriate dose of Tylenol or Motrin for teething pain--what does your doc recommend?

Good luck!

My kids hated teething rings too. We did a lot of frozen wash cloths like oneperfectone and others suggested. But they thaw very quickly, so have a ton stashed in the freezer.

I also used the netted self feeders made my munchkin. I put frozen banana or even an ice cube in there. Yes it's a mess and a pain to clean, but it kept my babies happy.
