Hi!
We just moved here from NY. I am looking for a real good hair salon to do high lights and cut that is reasonably priced.
Thanks so much!
D.

Welcome to the neighborhood! I go to Divine Hair Salon and enjoy the service there. They are reasonably priced and they do an excellent job. Here is a pricing sheet. http://www.divinehairsalonva.com/services.html
If you are looking for a pediatric dentist, I would recommend
Dr Patel of Ashburn Pediatric Dentistry if he takes your insurance. Here is a link to the website: http://www.ashburnpediatricdentalcenter.com/
Please feel free to message me and let me know what else I can do to help you. Hope this helps!

Dear D.,
I know Ashburn is a bit of a drive from Arlington, but take a day or half a day for yourself. I cannot say anything BUT wonderful things about the Graham Webb Academy in Arlington, VA. Yes, they're students that do yuor hair and nails but they're not newbies, they are about to graduate and work at high end salons. Also there are plenty of instructors, they have to have all work "checked", like cuts and highlights. There's plenty of street parking during the day etc and the prices are AMAZING as are the results! I even sent my husband there for a haircut and highlights. My last haircut and blowdry was $16, so I also got a makeup application for $10 and a scalp treatment for $10 and a manicure for $10.
The website is http://www.grahamwebbacademyonline.com/gw-client.html#price
Good Luck!

Hi. I go to Salon Essence (www.salonessence.com) on Ashburn Rd. It's a small, unassuming place but don't be fooled - the service is great! The owner, Kim, does most of the cuts/styles and her prices are reasonable. Another place I'd recommend is Modern Concepts Salon (www.modernconceptssalon.com) also on Ashburn Rd. A lot of my friends go there and absolutely love the place. I've been there a couple of times and have no complaints!

I go see Mona at the JCPenny hair salon at Fair Oaks Mall.
I started seeing her 6 years ago when I needed someone to do an updo for my wedding. I am still seeing her - she's done highlights, color, perm, and cut for me. She's fantastic! JCP's does a lot of coupons too - so I can usually save 10/15% when I go in. Tell her K. sent ya....

There is a salon called Pink Karma Salon and Spa ###-###-####) It is located in Cascades (by the Home Depot, Giant, Starbucks, & Ben and Jerry's). My stylist (Ashley Steele) is switching over to the new salon on October 4th. I hear the place is going to be GREAT and I like Ashley. She is a spunky 24 year old but has been working in a really great Herndon salon since 17 so she has plenty of experience.
