Agree with Andra -- Dump a pile of baking soda on it and leave it overnight. Then vacuum it up. After that if it still smells, leave an open box of baking soda in your car to absorb any linering odor, and Febreeze like crazy!
Any of you ladies who have smelled Pediasure know it smells terrible when it's fresh! Well, a bottle must not have had a good seal and it got spilled in my car on the floor. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until the odor came. I cleaned the mess and scrubbed it really well with hot soapy water. The smell is still there, so today I scrubbed it with vinegar water.
Any other suggestions to help with that HORRIBLE odor? We have had terrible heat and I don't like to leave my windows down b/c if I do wasps and other insects get inside. Help and thanks in advance!
Thanks Mamas! I tried the baking soda thing, so I sure hope it helps! My mom also suggested using some laundry soap and water to scrub it. And I did leave my windows down all day... I think it helped a little. :-) The smell is probably lingering in my head as well! Ick!

Try Nature's Miracle. I still use the solution for cat urine (even though our sweet cat is gone now...) and it works on my son's potty accidents, old set stains on baby clothes - I haven't found anything except from permanent pen that it can't solve. I get it at the pet store.
My daughter dumped a cup of milk in my van. It warmed up outside and got SUPER nasty! I tried so many things. What worked was odor eliminator from Norwex. If you haven't hear of Norwex, it is a home sales business - like Pampered Chef, etc. If you would like more info, let me know!
Try baking soda. It absorbs most smells. Gotta use a lot and leave it on for a while. Good luck/
I feel your pain!!
I recently put on a breakfast for teachers and two meet&greets for morning and afternoon kindergarten parents. All on the same morning. I picked up donuts and coffee for all these people. Starbucks gives you creamers, half and half and milk in cups when you buy a ton of coffee. Well...I was driving carefully to school then suddenly had to slam on my breaks when cars in front of me stopped. And whooooosh...all the dairy products got smashed by the coffee carriers and puddled over the entire floorboard of my car. YIKES!! ANd the day was heating up to be 95'. The inside of my car was a pool of white.(mind you this was the first day of school...off to a great start eh?!!)
I called my hubby and he rode in and saved the day! He took it to a car wash and told them what happened. They took care of it. It was about 30 bucks and we have taken it back another time. Now after two deep cleanings we don't smell soured milk anymore.
Good luck and best wishes for a fresh smelling car...soon.
I would say swamp it with water, blot all you can and leave the windows down and bake it in the sun.
If it is out in full sun you shouldn't get wasps. Just make sure you roll the windows up before the sun starts setting.
In case nothing else helped, Dawn really works awesome! We use Dawn dishsoap with our middle-of-the-night accidents, any smelly car accidents, and even in the washing machine!
