I have a 1 year old and i am getting a new carseat. I was looking at the envenflo seats with the memory foam for comfort, but people complained about the straps in the reviews...does anyone have one?? I have a hyundai santa fe (small suv) i was wondering it that one was too big for my car? I am looking to spend around $100 -$130. It usually just stays in one car so its ok if its a pain to install, but i want a comfortable, easy to adjust safe seat! I have a babies r us gift card so will be purchasing there.

What can I do next?

Hi L.,

I'm another big fan of the Evenflo Triumph. My 2 year old is in one now and I think he will stay in it for a lot longer. I'd like to get a Britax, but can't afford one right no - so we're sticking with the Truimph. I love it!

Good luck!

We have bought the evenflo for both our girls...and I understand the issues with the straps. IF you don't understand their purpose, then it is confusing and time consuming to use. It has a double harness...one set of the straps is for the chest area...it is designed so you don't have to adjust if every time (this is what is time consuming until you figure it out), then there are the other set of straps that go down to the legs and that part is for tightening and loosening the child in and out. When we got our first one, we were adjusting all the straps every time, but once we figured it out, it is no big deal and we are in and out much quicker. I hope that helps with that concern.

I second the Evenflo Triumph! My three year old was in one up until a few months ago, when she outgrew it. It has fairly high safety ratings, is very comfortable, and easy to use. We finally bumped up to a Britax since she's getting bigger and will need a seat for a while, but it costs big $$, too :(

I have the Britax and love it. My husband has the Evenflo Trimumph and I HATE it. The straps get twisted, they are hard to get tight. Lots of people love it but I am not one of them...

Hi L., We bought the Evenflo Triumph Deluxe for our daughter when she turned one. She loves it and is so comfrotable in it!! We have not had a single issue with it sicne we bought it. It transports easily between our BMW and Expedition. My husband didn't want to pay $140 for it so we found another booster seat that was a lot less expensive. My daughter hated it!! She screamed in it the whole time we were out and when she fell asleep, her head was slung down all over the place. There as no recline or support at all. I highly recommend the Evenflo Triumph Deluxe!
