Hi S.. I have worked at Helen Ellis in the therapy dept for many years and the maternity unit has a great reputation. I have never seen or heard any negative comments, so I think it would be a good choice for you.

congrats on your baby! i have three boys- all of whom were born at hele ellis and all three c-sections. my sister has three girls of whom 2 were born there (the other was in chicago) all hers were vaginal. we both live in palm harbor and chose helen ellis over mease dunedin for helen ellis' reputation. they definetly stood up to it because we went back again and again and again etc. i have never heard anything about Morton Plant in npr so i can only vouch for helen ellis! I delivered my daughter (c-section) at Helen Ellis and my sister just had her little girl last week there also (c-section too). The staff is wonderful and the rooms are nice, food is great too. A good friend of mine is one of the nurses there and she made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. I would definitely recommend Helen Ellis as my first choice. I have been to Community in NPR and I was NOT impressed. I actually switched doctors just so I could go to Helen Ellis. Good luck with your pregnancy! I am sure you will make a good hospital choice.

I had my 1st child at Helen Ellis. They were great!!

I have a good friend who had her daughter at Helen Ellis and loved it. I had my son at Mease Countryside in Safety Harbor last November and had a great experience there.
