Hi Tammi,
Have you talked to your doctor about it? There could be something else going on to cause that. I hope it gets better!
My daughter is almost 2 years old & my bladder feels like it did when I was 8 months pregnant!! It seems I have to go every hour!! Is there anyway to get it back to the way it was? I've heard that 'holding it' is not a good idea. It's embarrassing because every time I go somewhere, I always have to make a pit-stop. I'm afraid I'll be wearing a diaper by the time I'm 50! Any ideas, suggestions...?

i was also on detrol for a while for different reasons but i loved the control it had. and i was on it for about a year and now i don't have any problems!!!
Have you been to your physician to have this checked out? This could indicate that you have an actual bladder problem. Personally, I do kegel exercises, where you flex your "down there" muscles and hold for a few seconds and relax, then repeat. You can really do them any time or any place, such as while driving, while sitting as you work, or any time you think of it.
My doctor gave me Detrol a medicine that helps with the bladder. I was only on it for awhile and my bladder went back to normal. I had a bad tear too. You can develop what is know as a fistula (sp) where you develop leakage almost like you sprung a leak. You can ask your OB to take a look.
