How Long Should It Take for a Loose Tooth to Fall Out?

When you see or feel teeth below, it's too long. Since it is wiggling, it's already ready to come out. Sometimes the tooth is ready but it won't fall out on it's own easily anyway. I had to take my son to the dentist once because he was so afraid of pulling it off that it re-anchored but a new tooth was coming out.

My kids usually took max a week but eventually they get used to it and pull it out in a day or two.

But tell her to wiggle it a lot or if she really wants it out, get a clean pair of pliers (I have a jewelry crafting one I use for this) and just yank it out. It's pretty painless if it's wiggling pretty good.

You can just take a tissue and pull it, it will come right out without much fuss or any pain.

My oldest had a loose tooth, for whatever reason he was scared to death for it to come out. He willed that sucker to stay in for over two months, wouldn't let any of us near it, would only eat mushy foods so it didn't pop out. So we were at a BBQ and he passed on corn, it was a front tooth, because it would force it out. I said oh let me look at it figuring that perhaps the pool and people around would make him forget I was gunning for that tooth. He did and I grabbed it saying problem solved, now go eat!

Maybe not the best mom moment but if you have to go through two months of not eating, whining, and all that, yeah, I think anyone else would have done the same.

Just pull it, sure it will fall out on its own, but when it is already partially detached? Besides, imagine if she swallows it? What will the tooth fairy do?

That is so funny, My 6 y/o has her first VERY lose tooth . She was born with her 2 bottom teeth but they were removed at birth cause they were just hanging, so she's had a gap until last year when she got her 2 first adult teeth so that was exciting and so this is her first loose tooth. It is driving her nuts!! lol it's kinda just hanging from one side now, she "guesses" it will be out by this sunday when we go to the lake LOL her life revolves around her wiggly tooth right now LOL hopefully it won't be long. She stares at it in the mirror all day, and just yesterday she asked my husband if he would tie it with a string and tie it to his truck and drive really fast LOL

From when it just starts to loosen, several weeks to more than a month. This is the barely loose stage. Once it's really loose, though, a couple of days. My 5yo daughter just lost her second tooth this morning. She really should have pulled it out a day or two ago but was too scared.
