D.F.
I go to sleep around 11pm and am up at 6am every morning, sometimes earlier if my 2 yr old wants to get up early.
Just curious. I get about 6 hours of "solid" sleep. I go to bed around 1:30-2 am.
I go to sleep around 11pm and am up at 6am every morning, sometimes earlier if my 2 yr old wants to get up early.
I fall asleep usually at 1:45 and get up at 5:45 during the week. Saturdays and Sundays I usually "sleep in" until 6:30. I see clients all day and then have computer work, bids, presentations and reports to do.
Ha! Not as many as I did before I discovered mamapedia! lol
i also get about 6 hrs & go to bed usually around 2am...i wish it were more though but i cant get any school work done till the kids go to bed...sometimes i get an hour nap when the baby sleeps but its rare
I am one that does not need much sleep.
Like my late Dad.
I can get by on 4-5 hours of sleep.
However, now that my kids are 4 and 8, I do get more sleep.
I get about 6-8 hours.
I wake by 6:00am, sometimes at 4:00am.
I just naturally wake at a certain time, not needing an alarm clock.
Meanwhile, Husband and kids are still sleeping.
When I can fall asleep I usually get a good 5 or 6 hours of sleep. I go to bed about 2300 or 2400. Get up between 0630-0730.
I get about 7-1/2 hours of solid sleep, on a good night. On a bad night, I'm up from 2am-5am, then it's usually just 4 hours of good sleep.
To bed about 11 and up at 5, During the Fall. In the summer when things are more flexible about 12 to bed up at 8...AHHHH summer.....
I nap at 1-2 hr intervals all night unless I take benedryl for allergies and then I'm drowsy all am.
I have a 16 yr old, driver, with a bf.... We have a routine of our night time tv, bf comes over after work. I end up in bed around 12-1am nap at intervals with hubby snoring, etc. Hubby is asleep by 7pm and fully charged by midnight so he works on our company at night as well.
This summer, I may nap til 8am, get up work on company in home office, do chores and errands, etc and the schedule starts all over.
My dream would be a 3-4 hr un-interrupted sleep. When school starts... I have to make sure daughter is out the door by 7:20 vs 8:40 for the last 2 yrs. At least she drives to school!!
i absolutely HATE staying up late--i am not, and have never been a night owl. I'm usually passed out by 9:30 or 10 and wake up between 6 and 6:30 with the kids--i'm also up multiple times during the night with my 10 month old and occassionally with my 2 year old. Both of my kids are terrible sleepers :(
I go to bed about 10:30 and sleep until 6:20 on weekdays, 7 on weekends.
I go to sleep between 8 and 10pm and get up 1-3 times to let kids in and or out. My sleep is usually 1-2 hours long at a time. I get up to stay as early as 4, but not usually until about 5:30 and occasionally about 6:30.
I like to get at least 6 and love to get more, but often get less.
I usually go to sleep around 11pm and get up around 8am. I WANT to sleep until 10am everyday but rarely get to do that. My husband will let me sleep if we don't have anything going on...but we usually do. I could easily sleep 12 hours a night but feel my best after about 9 hours of sleep.
I get between 1 and 7 hours of sleep per night and get up at least 2 times per night and as many as 6 times per night.
Such is my life! I've been so sleep deprived for so long that I have just learned to function. The first year of my daughter's life, she woke between 8-12 times per night for the full 12 months - it was awful!
I can't really function with less than 6 hours. I was a zombie when my son was first born, luckily he slept for 6-8 hours straight pretty early on. Right now I go to bed between 10 and 11 and get up at 6, or if I'm lucky and my son sleeps in, it might be closer to 7.
7.5 - 8.5 hours a night.
My schedule is like yours. Sometimes I can doze for an hour or so when my 2 year old watches Sesame Street.
I need 8 hrs, but usually only get 5. If I'm lucky. And those are hardly uninterrupted. Hubby snores like it's his job and wakes up at least twice a night to pee. Even though we have king sized bed, he still manages to bounce around so much that I wake up whenever he gets up. Heaven forbid if I have more than 2 hrs of sleep at that point, b/c my mind decides, "Hey, you can live on this little bit of sleep!" and I have a heck of a time falling back to sleep.
Oh, and my 2 YO usually wakes around 5 a.m., fusses a bit then falls back to sleep. She's in her own room but I still use a monitor (probably will 'til she goes away to college!), so I hear everything she does. We are in the process of potty training, so eventually that will be an issue too but for now we still do diapers at night.
To be able to function at all I need 6 hours, to feel ok I need about 7 & to feel good I need 8. During the week my bedtime varies, but generally I'm in bed by no later than 10 & I get up at 5:15 M-F. I had one night this week that I was in bed by 8:30 because I just really needed it.
I go to bed at 10p and up between 6&7a. I need 9 hours to feel completely rested and refreshed. Of course, that doesn't always happen especially getting up at least once a night with our 2 year old. The interruptions to my sleep are awful to me! I'm sometimes able to take a nap during the day.
I have always needed 8.5 hours of sleep. My husband marvels at how I can sleep 8.5 hours regardless of the time I go to bed. Generally, I go to sleep between 11 - 12 and get up about 6:45. So I don't get the 8.5 but I get a fair amout in comparison to most. I just can't function with too much less. I swear that's why I can't even remember my son being a baby b/c I was so sleep deprived until he was about 7 months old!
bed by midnight, up by 7 8 if i'm reallly lucky. most of the time there is at least one mild interuption, if i'm lucky i roll over and go back to sleep.
