How Often Do You Write a Response and Then the Message Doesn't Go Through?

Extremely often. It comes in waves. It will do it all the durn time for awhile, and then not at all.

So much so that I select and copy MOST of my long responses before I hit send.

The problem is when it's been working well for awhile that I get lazy, and forget to copy. Then *poof* gone. Thwibbt. There are a lot of things I've responded on that vanish and I just don't have the time to rewrite. It's part of why I get SO upset when whole posts and all the responses get reported for specious reasons. We go through spates of those, as well. When someone reports all the religious posts, or all the liberal posts, or all the conservative posts, or BF'ing, or spanking, or, or, or. We'll get someone newish on who just reports everything they don't agree with. And *poof* everyone's posts get erased.

Regardless of the cause... it's vexing.

there have been times it has happened to me. Got TRULY frustrated with it.

So when I've been working on a long reply? I copy it first - THEN click post. if it doesn't go through - I don't need to re-type it.

There are times when I have clicked and it did not go through - it gave me pause to re-think and change (SOMETIMES!!! :) ) how I respond....

The only time it happens to me is on this machine. I lose my broadband signal because I keep it under my desk. :p

I would look into running Chrome or Firefox if you are running IE. Really I run Chrome and don't have issues with this site logging me off which tends to be why your posts go into cyberwasteland.

Something else strange I have found is if I try to run this site on my phone and my laptop it will keep logging me off the other but you won't know until you actually submit the answer. :(

That's never happened to me before. Could it be your browser, or a poor network connection on your computer?

It used to happen with our old wifi service. I like the other moms have learned to copy my response. For just in case.

I've never had that problem.
