How to Get Pet Hair off of EVERYTHING

My wonderful, adult Japanese Chin sheds like a beast. I have yet to get her a shedding brush but am getting her one this weekend. I bathe her at least once a month and brush her frequently but it doesn't get rid of the under coat. After this last bath, she is shedding like crazy.

The big problem is she sleeps in bed with us and her hair gets all over the pillows, blankets, and sheets. Thankfully neither of us are allergic but I cannot get her fur off of the fabric! When I wash it in the machine it just clumps up but still sticks to the blankets. Any tips to get it off, or any products? Do I just have to lint roll everything to perfection?

What can I do next?

your dog is shedding because of extreme dry skin..try this-put a quarter tsp.olive oil in dog food(dry) 3xs a week..if he eats when he wants out of a bowl-just add a tsp.to dry dog food n mix real good.then get some plain yogurt-give a tsp.a day.youll see a huge difference in shedding.ive got 3 dogs.it has made a huge difference.good luck

I do sticky rollers and a lot of excuses. Normally I just tell people we started our own dog hair clothing line. Gets a laugh and no body bugs me after wards. In the land of Minnesota where fleece is a necessity. My kids look like Siberian Huskies all the time. We have one mutt with gray hair and its on everything, thanks to low humidity and static electricity. Something sticky rollers have yet to learn to combat.

We have a German shepherd that sheds a lot, and we take her to Petsmart once a month for a special bath/treatment called the firminator. It helps a ton. They have a firminator brush, too. We don't have the brush, but a friend of mine does. She bought it online much cheaper than for what they sell it for at Petsmart, and she says that it helps a lot with her dog shedding hair everywhere, as well.

Good luck!

Get the "fulminator" brand de- shedding tool. It is amazing and gets huge piles of hair/ undercoat off my corgis. The fulminator shed control shampoo is helpful too.

I like to use those brushes with flexible rubber bristles.
