Saw this on the home& garden channel/sell your home tip. Use Toothpaste....not the gel kind and a non abrasive scouring sponge. Rub firm but not hard to ruin the paint.
Use it in my home and it did the trick.

There are several different colored scuff marks (including crayon) on my walls. I've used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser & it did a great job on almost every mark on the walls, but nothing on the high gloss trim paint. Any suggestions, other than re-paint the trim?

my husband is a painter, so I asked him. He couldn't think of anything, he thinks that if you haven't had any luck yet with anything then you probably won't. It's probably the type of paint used when the trim was painted, there are different types that clean better than others. If you end up repainting, my husband always uses Sherwin Williams paint, he loves it. Just go to your local Sherwin Williams and tell them you want a paint that will be easily washable for trim. They'll guide you in the right direction. Good Luck, J.
I have a couple of ideas:
take a cloth and dip in warm water then some baking soda
or
use some soft scrub, just don't rub real hard.
Hi A. ~
No Worries! A couple of years ago, I helped a neighbor get off permanent marker, highlighter, and scuff marks from her entryway after her 3-yr-old "went to town" all over it. She tried magic eraser even straight bleach with no results. I told her I have this awesome 3-in-one cleaner (that I get direct from the company) to try. It got EVERYTHING off without her having to hire painters to repaint the entire thing (they were getting ready to show their house for sale that weekend!). Best of all, it's non-caustic, so it's safer for us and our children to be around.

Well i looked it up on the web and it looks like WD-40 seems to be the winner, especially for crayon marks, it may also work on the scuffs.
try oxy power by fantastic. i think that is who makes it. it works for several things including stains on walls, clothes, countertops. if that does not work, you may have to repaint the wall.
A.,
Not sure if this will work--but have you tried rubbing alcohol? It might work.
