We are moving out of state and will end up with a decent supply of boxes in various sizes filled with packing paper etc. Any ideas on where I can donate these? I hate to put so much in recycling. I already posted an offer ad on freecycle.

Thanks

You could also check the wanted section on Craigslist. People are always looking for moving boxes, especially now as college kids head back to school.

Craigslist. If you have real moving boxes...wardrobes, dish cartons, etc, that you had to pay for, you should SELL them. People will pay for good moving boxes so they don't have to pay full price themselves.

The U-haul places I have been to (in 3 separate states) have all had an area for give/take a box... People can drop off the ones they don't need, and those who are renting a U-haul can take what they do need for free.
