Just looking around to see if any one knows of anything close to hyattsville that would be a good/new place to host a 6 year old boys birthday party. It's at the end of January and I don't want to pay something unreasonable which is all I seem to find or it's really far away which makes it just as much of a thorn in the side the day of. I tried Pump It Up but they are booked for months in advace, does anyone know of something like that around here? thanks

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the suggestions, Chuck E Cheese was the final decision that was made, $200 bucks for 90 minutes at a table, 15 kids, goodie bags, tokens, tickets and cake, and don't forget the appearance from Chucky himself! Was the best deal I could find with the date I wanted!

Hi, I am a married mother of 5 and grandmother of 2. For me honestly a tried and true place is Chuck E Cheese. It maybe played out, but even my 9 and 10 year old boys still love going there.

Or Jeepers in Greebelt Plaza. You could also check out the Sports and Learning Complex. I think Chik Fil A also has a birthday party they are located in The Blvd. There is always Mcdonalds, most fast food places offer birthday party options. The Kung Fu school my boys go to offers a birthday party I don't know if you would be interested, if you are contact me and I will give the number to reach them, but they are located in Laurel off Cherry Lane.

You might also consider your local recreation center. The Herbet Wells Skating rink has some party options.

Hope these suggestions help.

I don't know if you would consider Watkins Park Nature Center close to Hyattsville, but they have Wild Things parties for $100 for 3 hours and it includes a live animal show and up to 25 kids. I think you have to supply your own food, goody bags, etc. but it's indoors and they have a great little spot that my 5 year old and 2 year old sons love.

If you are not really concerned about the amount of children to entertain the movie theater is a great idea and they really have a great time, or try the bowling alleys they have fun party packages as well, sometimes you have to take a different approach on things the children will enjoy as a group. the childrens museum in Wash. D.C. have a nice party package as well.
