My two sisters and my mom get together with their friends at least once a month to play Pokeno. It's a mixture of Poker and Keno played somewhat like Bingo from what I hear. They have a different theme of the game every month and whatever the theme is, they bring a gift that has something to do with that theme. I'm not sure how the gift-giving works, but they also use cash too I believe. They all have a really good time and I'm wanting to get their rules/instructions of play so that I can start up a group of my own (they live 2 hours away or else I'd go to their group games).
If anyone is interested in getting a group together to play this game, let me know. We could meet at my apartment in Grapevine for the first game and then change it up monthly if we'd like (or we can always play at my place). I have a 2.5 year old and a husband who can watch all the kids if you need to bring yours along too.

I have not played that since i was a tiny kid!! that is so awsome that it is still around. I live in Coppell and wouldn't mind going as long as it wasn't to far of a drive. I would probably need some brushing up on it, it's been so long!!

I've never played, but it sounds fun - heck, when aren't games fun? I thought that's why we had kids, the continual game playing. Anyway, when you get the group going, let me know - I'm most definitely interested!
I LOVE POKENO!!! i was introduced to this game by a very good friend of mine about a year ago and it's soooo much fun! i actually have about nine ladies over last friday night and hosted a game in my home, it's always a good time to hang out with the gals and play pokeno! i live in the keller area and would love to join any pokeno game, let me know.
