Probably just hormones but give the doctor's office a call. I always feel better having things like that checked out instead of worrying about them because Dr. Google always says 'it's nothing or cancer.'
The past month and half I've had 3 periods. This is not normal for me....usually I am right on schedule. I had the Adiana Tubal ligation done 4 1/2 years ago. Not sure if this is alarm for me to call my gyno or just let it ride out awhile longer or maybe it's no concern at all. I just turned 36.

I'm not sure I'd call them all "periods" since the timing is so odd. Mid cycle bleeding can occur for a variety of reasons, and hormonal changes can wreak havoc as well. Other things that kick in range from fibroids to endometriosis. I'd run it by the doctor next week, and note whether the heaviness of the flow and the duration are the same or different each time. Ask whether you should ride it out or not - the doctor may ask you some additional questions that will supply more info and a direction in which to proceed. Good luck!
It's worth keeping track of so you can mention it at your next annual exam.
At this point I wouldn't make a special appointment unless the bleeding becomes very heavy and lasts a long time.
36 could be the start of peri menopause - mine started about that age and lasted about 15 years before I achieved full menopause.
Peri menopause just means that gradually your cycle will be less predictable.
You have an extra one here, skip one there, be normal for awhile, etc.
It might be fibroids too - they can cause bleeding issues but usually aren't serious - just bothersome.
This is something to ask your Dr.
How old are you? Maybe you're beginning menapause.
Any changes to a regular schedule is indicative of either hormonal or physical changes.
Menopause is an example of a hormonal change, as our estrogen levels drop we slow down and stop menstruation. You are young for this to be the case, but it can be determined through blood tests.
Endometriosis, fibroids, tumors, etc. are examples of physical changes. For women who have completed menopause, any bleeding is usually a sign of something that needs to be checked out.
3 periods of bleeding in 45 days is not normal for any person, and since you have a history of maintaining a normal cycle, you should make an appointment to get things checked out with your doctor. There is never a reason to put this off - our body has signals like this for a reason, and if there is something serious going on, the sooner it is caught, the better the outcomes. If it is not serious, the peace of mind knowing what's going on, and potentially getting it resolved, is worth the appointment now.
Good luck. T. :)

If it's unusual for you? I would call my OB/GYN and tell them. Let them decide if they want to see me.
Keep track of them and call. Having periods every 2 weeks is not normal.
