A shop in Maplewood, Rich's Hair Salon is affordable and does a superb job. I get mine done there often and am very happy with the results. Good Luck.
With the rising prices of gas, milk, eggs, and everything else my family needs to survive, I cant justify spending $125 before tip on a single process hi-light and cut!
I have above the collar short semi-curly hair,w/ just a few grays, and blond hi-lights.
Looking for a stylist in South St.Louis area, but will travel west( Webster,Kirkwood,Crestwood). One who knows how to cut curly hair, who does foil hi-lights. I dont even make her style me after the cut..I walk out w/a wet head! Any recommendations on who's a bit less expensive, yet knows their stuff?

I have gone to the beauty school at Concord in So. County for years and am very satisfied with my results. Yes, they are in training, but it seems like they take extra time to do it right and the teachers are right there to help out. Ask for a student who is good with curly hair. The prices are so reasonable. Just a suggestion.

I love my stylist and have been going to her for almost 8 years. I've done all kinds of cuts and color with her (I'm now just getting an all-over color every few months - the highlights were draining my budget, even at my stylist low prices). Here's her contact information:

I know an awesome stylist who lives off Telegraph by St. Francis of Assisi school. She works out of her home and has an area for kids to play or watch movies. It is a family outing when we go. PLUS, the big bonus, her prices are so unbelievable lower than salons. I can get a couple cuts (me & my son), foil highlights, and over all color walking out paying around $60. Email to get her ____@____.com
My cousin is an awesome stylist, not as expensive and is in a beautiful little salon off of Hampton and Chippewa. She does foils on me all the time and I get lots of compliments and she says she is very comfortable with curly hair too. Her name is Stephanie and she's at Fusajiro - phone: ###-###-####. Feel free to call her and discuss prices and techniques!
