OK, some of we Northeast mommas are experiencing a major heat wave and I'm using it as an excuse for what happened at preschool!

Today I went to pick up my daughter and noticed her in the teacher's arms and in another outfit. I thought that was weird since I gave them a change of clothes in case she had an accident.

Well, I almost said, "Hi, sweetie," when I realized, that she was NOT my child, but looked just liked her, at least at that moment.

I then saw my own child come in from the playground--in the same clothes--indicating potty success--and an out-of-her-mind mamma!

So what was your "mom"-ent of delirium lately?

What can I do next?

I always laugh at northern folks and their heatwaves ;)

I walked out of the house with my tank top not only backwards, but inside out. Awesome. Thank goodness a sweet grandma walking by alerted me.

Well, while I was on the phone, my daughter was asking me for a play date to go to her friends house. I was distracted being I was on the phone making appointments etc. So I just nodded my head and said yes.
Then I got off the phone, and REALIZED, I did NOT have the car yesterday. So I had no way to drive her there or pick her up.
Duh.
And my son is home, sick.
So then, well her friend's parent, said he'd pick her up and bring her home later.

I volunteered to contribute food for a teachers' appreciation luncheon hosted by PTA moms. Wrote down the date and time of drop-off on my calendar and everything. The day I went to drop off the food, the office staff said "The luncheon is tomorrow. Leave it here and someone will pick it up." Doh. Had even checked the evite several times and thought I had it right. Total mom delirium. :)

I routinely call my one and only DD by her cousin's name. No particular reason, I just seriously call her the wrong name at least a few times a month. I've even called her by our doggie's name. Duh!
