I always type hte instead of the and aKte instead of K.. I think it is pretty sad that I screw up one of the most common words in English and my own name. <sigh>
What is/are those one or two words that you misspell every time you type or write them?
Mine are
Library - I always want to spell it Libuary , no idea why
and
Apologize- I always screw this one up bad, and have a few different spellings .

resturaunt , Restraunt, Restarant, Restaruant.... I always have to use spell check..
Restaurant
Well my typo (not spelling per say), is that, when I post something here and refer to my kids... I have been saying my daughter is 8.
Um... well she is NINE now! (recently).
I totally, forgot! I just realized, I was doing that, like 5 minutes ago. I managed to correct her age on a reply I did.
I feel so stupid.
I wish mamapedia had spell-check for our posts. If I'm struggling with a word (and realize it!), I open up an email and type it in. Then, I run a spell-check to make sure I have it right. I hate misspelling words!
I always misspell recipe I type it recipie
Some of my problem words:
* separate - seperate
* commitment - committment
The ones that seem to be a problem for others (not on this post, though):
* definitely (this is the correct spelling)
* Irregardless (this is NOT a word... the word is regardless)
It was fun to read what others have trouble with.
@ Theresa: "necessary" was a good one.
My fingers are always tripping over themselves.
hte...the
nda...and
becasue...because
form...from
from...form
slef...self
Now the two words I cannot spell are
broccolli, brocolli, broccoli ???
vacuum, vaccuum, ??
I have to check Google on these every time
minimum & occurrence---I don't know why I can't get these words right! I have to try a dozen different spellings before I get to the 'right' spelling.
you know they have those books like 1001 most common misspelled words. Hey wait...did I spell misspelled right?? LOL I always have trouble with tomorrow.
huh. It must be my OS that spellchecks, because I just got a squiggly line under "spellchecks"!
I always want to spell dilemma as dilemna. Don't ask me why, I have no idea.
Visible. (I have it written down now, no more going to the dictionary every time so I don't write visable).
neckalace necklace
suprise surprise
strait straight
cinnimon cinnamon
restaraunt restaurant
grey or gray
for some reason i want to put an extra l on words like wonderful(l) beautiful(l) plentiful(l), bountiful(l).......i guess that's because there should be one, by all rights because it means to be "full" of something.
I leave the apostrophes off of my contractions and possessive nouns, i neglect to capitalize and i overuse commas.
"to", and "too" are often slip ups for me(even though i know better).
My fingers do weird stuff on the keyboard lots of times. I just had to edit my "what happened" in a post because I had "it's till" instead of it still. I mean, why the heck would I bother to put in an apostrophe even, so goofy and not even had a drop to drink today.
I usually have trouble with ie words, like believe and conceive.. get em backwards and glad I get the little red underline to tell me I'm being less than precise in my spelling. Always, always, always when I type cousin I always add a g at the end--cousing. Drives me bonk.
convient. can't spell it for nothing in the world.
