Spending time with my kids! I quit my job so I could spend my daughter's (Her middle name is also Quinn) last year w/her before she enters K.

Time goes by so fast! Gotta take advantage of every opportunity you have for good quality time!

We also have a good solid financial plan to implement this year and I am excited as to how it will all go!

We are looking forward to getting pregnant and having a baby! We want a little one so much, and last year we got pregnant but lost him at 12 weeks :(. We had to wait so long to start trying again, so this year, we're hoping for baby dust!!

But, even if it takes awhile, we're always looking forward to the new adventures life brings us. :)

Congrats on your newest addition.

On the political front? The November elections and with some HOPE & CHANCE get Obama out of office.

On the personal front? Many things...new jobs, new income, new frontiers! New adventures! New friends! New car! :)

Helping my girlfriend's new consignment shop succeed! That's important to me!

We are going to look into visiting my family this year in California as well.

I guess I'm not really sure... I know there are a lot of things that I want to change, in order for me to be a happier person.

I am looking forward to getting a full time job again, with good pay & good benefits, and I think that will happen within the next few weeks.

I look forward to being an overall healthier & happier person. I have spent too long being stagnant, out of shape & not living, but merely existing.

DH was blessed with a higher paying job, so I am looking forward to more financial security (and a raise to my budget allowance ;)). Life being a little easier with the kids, as my youngest is turning 3 this coming year. Hoping to loose a few more lbs and get my tummy flatter. My mom is coming to visit in a month. My SIL is having their first baby in a month. Taking our annual trip up north to spend time with my grandparents at their cabin.

My tax refund check.....HAHAHA!

Seriously.....

I am looking forward to my baby boy showing more of his personality (he's 3 mos) and enjoying all the "firsts" that will start soon. Not rushing it, but wanting to enjoy it.

I am also looking forward to seeing the year through my daughter's eyes. She is so witty and funny that I can't wait to see how she takes in all the birthdays, holidays, etc. that occur. She is 4 and right now she is making many connections to the world around her and not so "me" focused.

I'm hoping to throw my hubby a really nice 30th bday party this year and spending some time reconnecting now that we're getting into the swing of "baby makes 4". I also want to take a vacation this summer, besides the annual visit to the in-laws.

Professionally, I'm excited about the possibility of looking for a new job.....not something I've completely decided on just yet, but it's on my mind. I'm also excited about continuing my Masters courses and earning a new teaching certification that will open some doors as well.

I had a blessed 2011. We struggled, don't get me wrong, but we were blessed with what we needed and with our health. We were also blessed to add a beautiful little boy to our family and a niece to spoil. All I can ask is that 2012 continue with great memories of family and friends and blessings for everyone to be safe, healthy and provided for.

Happy New Year and many blessings to all! :)

A better year than last year. 2011 was the worst year of my adult life. We had two failed fresh IVF cycles, two failed frozen, and my husband had two health issues in December. My oldest had her tonsils out in the middle of the summer, and my work became more stressful and demanding and thankless, thus, I became more tired and angry and bitter. My husband worked his tail off at side jobs and got underpaid for them. Not sad to see 2011 go. I am simply hoping for health in 2012, since nothing else matters but that and nothing can be accomplished without it. Everything else will fall into place I hope.

Leaving for India in a few weeks. My son will get to see his dad who he hasn't seen since our last trip in 2010. Also looking forward (sort of) to less travel with work this year. My son will start kindergarten in the fall. And who knows what else?

Congrats on the upcoming arrival of baby #2, I love the name. This year I am most looking forward to living in the moment. Somethings that has been quite difficult these past few years, my husband has gotten the "all clear" w/his cancer for the passed 3 years so that was a huge "whew" and my oldest is going back to gym Tues after a long ordeal w/a knee injury/surgeries. There is a laundry list of other stuff, but I am so looking forward to some good coming my way, and if it's not good....trying to find the good in it.

congrats on your upcoming blessings!

I'm looking forward to my 24yo returning to college....after battling the end-stage of a degenerative hip disease & subsequent hip replacement. This all began when he was 6 years old, & it was on my "bucket list" to get him thru his 1st replacement. Goal achieved! Now it's his turn to achieve....& he's moving forward!! Air Traffic Control School, here he comes! Yes!

I'm also alternately looking forward/dreading the sale of our family lake house. It's been a part of my life for 40+ years, & to sell it just takes my breath away. But it is the only solution to our current drama/angst with my Evil Stepmom. The +side of it would be, while we are losing my father's legacy to us.....we will be turning that $$ around & purchasing our own Fish Camp at Lake of the Ozarks. In a sense, while we are letting go of our own family legacy, we are creating a new legacy for our own children....& their families, one day. This can & will be a good thing!

I'm also looking forward to my younger son's freedom "behind the wheel". Life changes so dramatically when teens begin to drive, & I'm genuinely anticipating this change in our lives.

& finally, I am looking forward to changing my daily life. I am planning to shut down my daycare & seek work in an office....not sure where my path will lead. This does not frighten me, but excites me....I am ready for a steady paycheck with benefits, including paid vacation/days off! :)
