July Birthday Party, Don't Want the "Same Old, Same Old"

I've been trying to think of a fun idea for my son's 4th birthday party. We're already invited to a Pump it Up party in June and it is soooooo hot at the end of July, I don't want to do the waterslide thing. I was going to have it at the zoo but we have five people in our family and we have another friend with five, just for the two families it would cost $180. I don't want to spend $500 for his party! Where was the best summertime birthday party you've been to?

What can I do next?

Kidz Club, My Gym, and Planet Bounce might be good options for you.

Call Dinosaur World in Plant City. I know they do big Birthday discounts depending on the size of the group. Very shaded and lots of fun. It's a Birthday party he would never forget. It's off the Forbes Road Exit on I-4.
Have Fun

what about a birthday party at a Rays baseball game? They have an area on the field that you can reserve for parties...and it can be fun for kids and adults!

My 4 year old loved Dinosaur World. We just went for the day, but I have had friends that had gone there for birthday parties and they said their kids had fun. It's not too expensive and you can bring your own food. They have a picnic area in caves so it's not too hot either. Hope this helps. http://www.dinoworld.net/dino-start003text.php?page=1

Good Luck!

My 2 oldest children have summer birthdays too. The 2 best "inside" places for great birthday parties are MOSI and The Flordia Aquarium. They entertain the kids with activities, provide the plates and cups and even cut the cake for you. The easiest, mess free birthdays we ever had!

If you go to the Zoo on July 20th it will only cost $5 per person and kids 2 and under are free. They will love it. I took my 4 and 2 yr old last weekend and they had fun. I hope this help a little bit.

Hi S.,

My daughter's birthday is also in July - July 5th. I hired Critter Creations to come in and do a party for 8 kids. They bring over 30 animals for the kids to pick from and then they stuff them right there. It's like having Build-A-Bear come to your house. They also do face painting, crafts and play a game (with prizes) for the kids. All that for only $200! I thought that was pretty cheap - I only have to supply the cake, snacks and juice for the kids. Check them out - she is out of Largo: www.crittercreations.org Good Luck! It will definitely be an "indoor" thing since it's so hot out then. Take care!
