Joes Crab Shack. Any place with a patio...La Madeline's for example on 10/Huebner, Chilis.
i'm looking for some restaurants in north central/northwest san antonio that either have kiddie areas or playscapes to play in or have room for kids to move around rather than being bound to their seats. i've been to blue cactus cafe and although their outside play area is very nice, it's a bit of a drive and the food is not that great for the price. of course, there is the usual chuck e cheese, fast food chains and gattiland that i'm already aware of as well.
so does anyone have any other suggestions?

Momacks on Jones Maltsburger is GREAT! Large outdoor play area, and room to run. Willie's (off 281 and Bitters?) has a nice patio and sand box for the kids. I know there is a place- can't remember the name- right across the street from Walker Ranch Park (off West Ave) that has an outdoor patio/play area. Haven't been to that one yet. If I can remember anymore I'll post them for you. I have three boys so I know how hard it can be. :)
Sea Island shrimp house has several locations and a nice outdoor playscape plus they have crayons and color pages.
La Hacienda on Redland and 1604 has a great patio and margaritas, as well as a great jungle gym. Big's Burgers on Huebner and 1604 has a huge yard to play in. Beefy's up 281 also has a great play area. The Scenic Loop Cafe is another with a fun play area.
Hope this helps!
Buffalo Wild Wings near I10 on DeZavala. We went Friday nite and there were MANY children there! :)
