My son loves his dentist, Dr. Stella, in Long Beach. He and his staff do everything possible to make kids relax and enjoy/not be afraid of going to the denist.
Please help me find kids friendly dentist for my boys. I have 9, 8 years old and 15 months boys. We moved from Utah. I had wonderful pediatrician there and dentist. My boys were excited to go for checkups.I wanted to mention that they had never had any work done besides cleaning, they are lucky to have good teeth. Here I went to dentist once but I didnt have good impression, lady barely spoke english, not kid friendly and argued with me to leave boys alone in the exam room. Please if you have good place to go share it with us:) thank you all moms!!!
P.S. I live in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, moved from Cottonwood Heights UT (for all Utah fans, lol)

I have a wonderful ped dentist in San Pedro. His name is Dr. Groat. He IS wonderful and his staff....well, they all love kids! I HIGHLY recommend them :)
###-###-####... Call and see for yourself :)
Janelle Holden or Patricia Turley in Manhattan Beach. Both are excellent and they are pediatric dentists so the offices are VERY kids friendly.
Where do you live? I live in Norwalk and know of two great dentists! I take my 3 year old to Dr. Don Wood in Cypress (drdonwood.com - and they let you go back with them or sit by them while they get examined!) and my husband and I go to Dr. Fred Matsumoto in Cerritos. For pediatricians, I have Kaiser so I don't know if that will help, but I love my pediatrician, Dr. Geman Cheng, who practices at the La Palma Centerpointe facility!
:) Good Luck!
p.s. where did you live in Utah? I have lots of relatives there! :)
If you live anywhere near Westwood, we've been seeing Dr. Law in the UCLA Pediatric Dental Practice and she is fabulous. She only works part-time and can be hard to see, but I just found out that she has Saturday hours.

We found her through a high recommendation from our fabulous pediatrician.
Actually, I had one of Dr. Taylors associates and I ended up finding out the they gave my daughter (4 yrs old) 2 baby root canals when it wasnt needed. I only found this out because I requested that my dentist at harbor dental go over her x-rays from Dr. Taylors.
Ever since then I have been taking my daughter to Harbor Dental in Harbor City ###-###-####. They explain everything to you in detail and even allow you to sit in the room while they are cleaning and working on their teeth. The most wonderful people ever!! They even have their own little people(kid) chairs.
I've only lived here 1 year (from Utah as well) but when I found out that my daughter needed extensive dental work I went to 3 different dentists before deciding on Dr. David Taylor in Rolling Hills Estates ###-###-####. My daughter is actually seeing Dr. Lo there but they have a very kid friendly office and they were great with my kids. I was impressed!
My daughter is 4 and has been going to see Dr. Janelle Holden in Manhattan Beach. In the Metlox Center (that is in the main strip of Manhattan Beach) and there is cheap meter parking under the center. VERY kid friendly. Dental hygenist are great and the dentist is wonderful. My daughter enjoys going.
