I just moved to Evanston a few months ago and I really need to find a dentist for myself and my 2 young children. I'm open to a family practice for all of us or 2 separate dental offices. For the kids, I'm looking for a pediatric dentist that has a good bedside manner. For myself, I'm looking for a dentist that does more than just cleaning. I have terrible gums and need to have scaling done. So, does anyone have any recommendations for a dentist that they love for either youself or your kids? Thanks!
I cannot recommend a dentist for you, but for your kids, I highly recommend Dr. Marie Simon on Sherman with the Northshore Dentistry for Children. I have three girls (6, 3, and almost 1) my two oldest LOVE her and she has done amazing work with my kids teeth. She's kind and gentle, and she gets dental work done even when your child is anxious or uncooperative. She's the best!

hubby and i go to samantha blanas and we take our son to dr. simon. both are located downtown evanston. blanas is located across the street from the library, simon is in the rotary intl building. we've sinced moved to chicago, but still make the drive to them bc they are so nice.

We highly recommend the offices of Drs. Fippinger and Simon (Dr. F may be retired by now, and it's pronounced like Simone) for your kids. They're located in downtown Evanston in the Rotary bldg. My siblings and I each went there for about 18 years.
