Another vote for Shiva Rae's DVD. I'm 6.5 months pregnant and have been using it 1-2 times a week for probably 4 months now, and I love it. Great for first thing in the morning ;)
Hi ladies! I am about five months pregnant with my second child. This time around I have been having horrible back pain (I think from picking my two year old up all the time) I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good prenatal yoga dvd. I just went on amazon to look around and all of the dvds have such mixed reviews. I have done yoga before but was never real religious about practicing it. I also dont have the time or money to try to find an actual class so a dvd is my best option. Any suggestions???
I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the advice. I can not wait to try everything out. I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!

K., I used the Melinda Bryant pregnancy and post pregnancy dvd...that was pilates but I really enjoyed that one. Good luck!!
I really liked the one from Gaiam with Shiva Ray. It has 3 different levels portrayed at the same time, so you'll be sure to find one that feels comfortable. Amazon probably has a great deal, even maybe a used one. Also you could try posting a request on freecycle.org and see if someone has one they would be willing to give away. Good luck!
I really like the Fit Mamas Prenatal Workout by Leisa Hart. It has a little aerobic workout too, but her Fit Mamas line is really great. The postnatal workout dvd is really great too. My son is 2 1/2, and that still gives me a good workout because she has three different levels for as you get back into shape.
I like Shiva Rea as well.
Not to pile on, but I loved Pilates for Pregnancy with Sarah Picot. It is available online. It really helped with my back and shoulders. Hope you find something you will enjoy.

I don't know about yoga but Epsom salt soaks would be very beheficial!!
Two girls, what a blessing!
H, K.. I really liked the one by Shiva Rea. For a more intense prenatal workout, I liked one by Erin O'Brien. I found both on Amazon.com.
Have a happy pregnancy!

I had one called yoga mama, that I loved. Whenever my back hurt, I would pop it in and it worked wonders. Look on Ebay to get a good deal. Best wishes on your pregnancy!
I like yoga zone. I do their regular yoga dvd's and decided to do the prenatel one. It's very modern yoga and not chanty at all ( I felt really silly talking and dancing around with my stomach like in one of the videos). It's also the creator and his wife so it's the routine they developed for her. It's a good workout, not too strenuous and with a lot of pointers for throughout the day to deal with back pain etc...
