I love Beth Moore's books. She has a lot of topics to choose from, and all the ones I have read have been fantastic.
I'm looking for a good Bible Study type book that really gets you thinking. I'm also looking for any other recommendations on religious books for women.

Have you thought about going more towards learning about God's creation? This is something that would be great for you and teaching your children! Here's one. http://www.answersingenesis.org/PublicStore/product/Close...
Here's another...called "The Answers Book". It's a great chapter by chapter that explains our world today. It's more of a book than a bible study book but it will make you to want to look up the bible verses and really meditate on God's Word.

I'm happy that you're wanting to further your growth in Christ!
We have just done a book study and it was great!
Life Together
By Dietrich Bonhoeffer
It is short and a super easy read and really speaks the heart of the church.
Some great books have been mentioned but I wanted to pass along my favs, too!
I LOVE Stormie O'martin's "Power of the Praying Wife!" Love Love Love it! My poor little copy is so worn.
I'm a big Beth Moore fan as well. My favorite one of hers that I've done thus far is "A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place," but I've never done any that were bad.
I also really like most of the books that John Hobbs writes.
Good Luck and God Bless! <><
Have you tried Expereincing GOD great workbook study guide and it comes in basic to advanced. Its wonderful!
I am currently reading "In Awe of Thy Word", which is a book that teaches you how to read the King James Bible and why other versions are not as perfect or accurate as the King James. It is a thick book, almost a bible itself but I am finding it very interesting.

For bible study, I like my Strong's concordance. I like created to be his help meet by Debi Pearl, too.

Try Stormie Omartian's Power of a Praying Woman. It's really good!
