My 2.5 yr old son goes to Dr. Kjartan Armann. He is awesome, and my son loves him. You should call him and make an appt. for an interview. ###-###-#### He is located on Dardanelli Lane in Los Gatos. Good luck!
Hi - I saw a few suggestions on an old post, but am curious if anyone else has recommendations. Our current pediatrician has left the practice, and I wasn't in love with that group so I want to make a switch. I'd heard rave reviews about Dr. Trager at Ramblc, but his practice is closed now. We are thinking of using Dr. Lan (also at Ramblc) - has anyone used him? I really want someone who is gentle and has good rapport with the kids, but of course a great diagnostician.
I want to thank you all for your responses! They've been incredibly helpful. Dr. Lan had offered to have a "meet the dr." appointment with us, so we will be doing that. It's great to hear that all the doctors at Ramblc are so wonderful. To those of you who mentioned docs at other practices - thanks so much, I will add them to my "short list" also.

I really like Dr. Kimberly Pitts-Davis at RAMBLC. She does well with my kids, ages 15, 14, 12 and 8. Good luck.
I use Dr Contini and am really happy with him. He is in a group, but I have never seen anyone else in the group...they just cover for each other if one is out of town. He has four kids of his own, so he relates to what you are going through at that time. I have NEVER had to wait in his waiting room, by the time I have finished my co-pay or any paperwork, they are calling us in. My son doesn't even get to play with the toys :-) I also LOVE his nurse. She is so good with the kids, and always seems super happy to be there, like she truly enjoys what she is doing. My son is in love with her! LOL! If you want any info on him, let me know. He is in South San Jose, off of the 85ish. I am new so I don't know areas all that well.
Pitts-Davis, Silverman & Loftis at Ramblc are all good. Several twin moms use them & all 3 worked with us following the delivery of our twins & their NICU stay (they arrived before a holiday weekend). We use Dr. P. Silverman as our primary.
We have used Dr. Pampela Silverman ###-###-#### at Ramblic pediatrics for over 14 years for our 3 children(2 boys 1 girl). She is honest, direct and up front, easy to talk to about any issue and is a mom of 3 herself.

hi!
our pediatrician is dr. catherine rose off samartian drive. she is wonderful! the other doctors in the office are great as well and they have extended office hours. they are great!
K.
We go to Dr. Min at RAMBLC and think he's great. He shares his practice with Dr. Lan and we've seen him as well. He's awesome, too.
We use Dr. David Safir, next to Good Samaritan. He and the neighboring pediatricians do weekend office hours also. My son is almost 5 1/2 and my daughter is 3 1/2. We have had all the routine stuff, plus a dog scratch on the face that got badly infected and a broken nose (sent to the ER). We love both the doctor and the staff there. Phone ####-###-####.
About me: I am a teacher, and the office staff has been great about accomodating me with before and after school appointments. The kids love going to the doctor - even when they are sick or need shots.
Dr. Bryan Drucker at Pediatric Associates is the best. The phone number is ###-###-####. I have used Pediatric Associates for 7 years and I couldn't ask for better care for my daughter.
I love Dr. Pitts-Davis at RAMBLC.
R.,
Both of my girls see Dr. Lan (they were orignially with Dr. Lee at Ranblc who moved to the east coast) Dr. Lan is the one who took over her practice. Both of my girls really like him, he is really good. My youngest (who is also has asthma) has an intolerence of antiboitics and he was really good about trying to find one she could take orally (before she has to have injections). My oldest daughter has an enlarged spleen due to the mono virus and he has been really good about seeing her often as well as calling a specialist to find out what we need to be doing. My family recently moved to the cenral valley and even though it takes an hour and a half to get to Dr. Lan's for there appointments I won't consider switching doctors, hope you find this helpfull.

We also use Peter Contini at Pediatric Associates. His office is on Camden near Almaden Expressway. Half of the practice works out of their office near Good Sam and they have an Urgent Care near Good Sam staffed by Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Contini was at the top of a short list I got from a Pediatric ENT specialist I worked with (he takes his own kid to him), but Dr. Trager was on that list as well. Dr. Contini's partner at the Good Sam office was also on the list if that office is more convenient to you. (Can't remember his name, but a coworker of mine loved him).

Both Dr. Traeger and Dr. Lan are still with RAMBLC. (They just moved to a brand new beautiful building at the corner of Bascom & Samaritan last week.) I've had experience with both of them since our pediatrician, Dr. Ahmann is also at RAMBLC. I trust him and my kids (ages 4 & 2) enjoy visiting him just to get to talk to him; he's like a family friend. Honestly, I think ALL the RAMBLC pediatricians are FABULOUS, plus you can be seen on a Saturday if you have to! I recall Dr. Lan was very nice and gentle. We also really, really like Dr. Pitt-Davis; she's very personable. Good luck and believe me, you can't go wrong with RAMBLC.
We use Dr. Pearlman at Los Gatos Pediatrics. The nurses and other doctors are good too. He is right near LG Community Hospital.
Hi R. -
My two kids (almost 5 and 16 mo.) see Dr. Lan and I can give him my complete and total endorsement. He is very gentle and warm with kids and is VERY thorough. His follow up on issues, no matter how big or small is truly impressive. My daughter had heart sugery when she was born and had to come in to his office frequently for weight checks for several months. He scheduled these during his lunch hour so that she would not be exposed to any sick kids; was putting in applications for a synegis (special vaccination for premiees ad cardiac babies) before I even asked about it. He is also very willing to listen to parents and their concerns. When I inquired about splitting up the MMR vaccine in to 3 different shots, he was totally comfortable with that choice; just wanted to make sure appropriate vaccinations happened by a certain age. I also love his nurses and staff.
Hi. I have a 21 month old daughter and I take her to Dr. Michelle Loftis at Ramblc. She takes the time to ask questions about my daughter and she'll answer any questions I have. We have enjoyed her so far!
Good luck!

Hi R.,
My main pediatrician is Dr. Min, but both my boys 3.10 years and 15 months have seen Dr. Lan several times. He is wonderful with the children and does a very thorough exam every time you go in, whether it is a runny nose to a concern for a cough. He was also the Dr. that my oldest son saw when he cut his forehead on the edge of a table. He saw immediately that he needed stitches, so we ended up in the emergency room. He was very gently and really put my son at ease!
Hope this helps!

I have three kids and Dr. Keith Ahmann from RAMBLC is who we use. We really like him.
I would definatly try Dr. Andrade located in the offices next to O'Conner Hospital in the Rose Garden area. My almost 3 year old son likes him, and he is a very nice doctor, even when I get "crazy-worried" over every little bump, bruise, etc. His # ###-###-#### and his staff ALWAYS gets us in if I need to be seen that day; he always calls me back if I have just a question regarding our son, his behavior, etc. He really cares about his job, and goes above and beyond.
