I am 5 weeks from my due date and am now starting the daunting task of find a pediatrician. We are having the baby at Good Samaritan Hosptial and live near there as well. We would like to have a pediatrician in the same area. Our doctor gave us a list but it is just names. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of pediatricians in that area. Thanks.
I can also recommend Ramblc pediatrics. We love Dr. David Trager. His office is run really well and I've never had to wait more than 5 mins for an appointment. It's super kid friendly and the staff is great.
Our pediatrician is Bryan Drucker. He is located just down from the hospital on Samaritan. The website is www.ped-associates.com. I like him because he his is very soft spoken and I never feel rushed. He seems to give very thorough examinations. He takes his time with the patients. I have 2 boys (10 & 8) and they like him too. My girls go to Dr. Andrew Lan at Ramblc Pediatrics, accross the street from Good Samaritan. We started going there when we moved to CA in 1999, there original doctor left two years ago and Dr. Lan took her place. One of the best things about this group is that they never rush through an appointment, he always has time to answer your questions (unfortunatly they very rarly run right on time, but I think the few minutes wait is worth it) they also never blow you off if you call saying you know something is wrong with your child, but can't explain why you think something is wrong. By the way, my husband and I are planning to move to the Livermore area, but I am not switching from Dr. Lan for my kids. There number is ###-###-####.
