Our family's pediatrician is all the way in Dallas, and I need one that is closer to accept a 5 year old and a future baby in December! He is a very healthy boy, but we need someone close by for check ups and shots, etc.

We personally see Dr. David O. Johnson and love him. We have also seen Dr. A.E. Benzick and Dr. Erica J. Zwermemann on rare occassions when Dr. Johnson was not available. We drive from Flower Mound to their office since we feel it is worth it.
Dr. Kim Mangham w/ Cooks Pediatric in Keller is great. She is located on 1709 / Southlake Blvd.
We see Dr. Knapp and Dr. Nichols at Cook's in Southlake. It's right off of 1709 and not only do I love them but my son does too.

I live in Southlake. I take my children to the Baylor Family practice there. I use Dr. Zwenermann. Their number is ###-###-####. I had been with the same pediatrician in Arlington for over 11 years. It was very hard for me to switch, but I needed someone close. I have been pleased with their office.
We have gone to Southlake Family Medicine right off 1709 for 4yrs now. The are at the Timaron & 1709 intesection. We use Dr O'brien but have seen almost every Dr in the office because my son is sick often. There are around a dozen Dr's (pedi, family practice & internal med) in the office. Out of 4rs we have NEVER not been able to get a same day appt on something important. Dr Zwernaman(sp) is my other best pick, her husband is my ob/gyn at Harris Ft Worth. Also the great thing we've found with a Baylor affiliated office is that anything we have done at Baylor they can look up right in the office (came in handy last wekeend when my husband was in the ER). My boys go to KidCare Pedictrics which is off 1709 and Rufe Snow Dr in Keller (behind the McDonalds). Nearly everyone I know go there. All of the doctors are great and the nurse practioners are a dream.
We love Dr. David Nichols at Cook Children's in Southlake on Southlake Blvd. He is in the same shopping center as Sushi Sams. Their # is ###-###-####.

Dr. James Wheeler in Hurst (associated with Cooks) is great. He has always been a great doctor, and his staff is very kid friendly. My 18 year old hates that she will have to find a new doctor now. He has been her doctor for the last 10 years.

Trophy Club Pediatrics is a new pediatric clinic opening in Trophy Club Texas Nov 2014. It offers extended/after hours and Saturday clinic, new patients and walk-ins are accepted. Well Child Checks, Immunizations, Sports Physicals and Sick Visits done in a family friendly environment.

Dr. Omar Gomez in Keller ON 1709 more near to southlake, easy to get to from Trophy Club. It is called Kid Care Pediatrics, I haev two boys one who is 7 and one who is 4 and they just love all the doctors there and the staff is so sweet, which makes a huge difference just trying to get into the doctor. They have a great emergency procedure since my kids almost always get sick in the middle of the night or on weekends. You can check it out, I know a ton of moms that go there and everyone just loves them and they have a huge new beautiful office that is always clean and you dont feel like you are going to get sick just going in to see the doctor for a sinus infection, you know! www.kidcarepediatrics.com. Also I have a Pediatrician friens who subs everywhere she has 3 kids and she loves working there when she subs due to the fact that the people that work there are so nice and the office is very nice and high tech! I also take my son to southlake family. Dr. Benzick is the best. When I had my son he was absolutley wonderful at the hospital. Dr. O'brien was there for the initial visit and she was good too.

Dr. W. Pierre Robert, at Baylor Grapevine. ###-###-####. We love him. Very conservative in his practice, not one to rush to antibiotics, etc. Only problem might be that you can't get in until the baby comes. I say that, you could give them a call and double check how that policy applies. I know that he is only accepting newborns and their siblings though. Good luck in your search!
