I know that someone just asked basically this same question but she was located in Orange Park.
I am looking for a hair stylist in the Jacksonville area, I live in the Arlington/Southside/Regency area, that can basically look at my hair type, and my bone structure and basically tell me what is going to look the best. I am not creative at all in this area and really just have no idea except for the fact that at this point anything would be better than what I currently have.
My hair is very thin and extremely straight and fine. I also have some thinning issues on one side in the front which does kind of make bangs a tad difficult.

Thank you everyone so much for the great referrals. I did go to Joseph Richards, mainly because he is very close to where I live. However, I was very, very happy with him and I think that he did a fabulous job. So if anyone is looking for a hair stylist in the Arlington/Regency area then I am joining with Beth and highly recommending him.

I go to Joseph Richard's Salon at the corner of Atlantic and Arlington Roads. He is excellent and looks at your bone structure, hair type, your lifestyle, and personality and gives you a style to suit it. His phone number is ###-###-#### and is open Tues - Fri. I have been going to him for 13 years now and couldn't recommend him higher. He also is exceptional with coloring. Many people go to him to get it fixed from other places.
Eugenia Gantea at Salon 2100 will take good care of you! She's a hair stylist and colorist (and massage therapist if you need that as well!!). Jennifer Jolley at Anthony and Sandra's is AMAZING! I have gone to her twice now and can honestly say I have gotten the 2 best haircuts of my entire life! A shampoo and haircut/blowdry is $38. HI M....I can't think of the name of the place, but there is a salon on Southside Blvd in the same shopping center as Target, Comp USA, Micheal's, Circuit City, etc. They do a good job. I haven't been there in a few years since I moved to OP but the lady that I used to see was Robin. Not sure if she's still there or not, but you can ask for her. Sorry I can't remember the name.
My mom uses a lady off Penman at the beaches who does a fabulous job on her hair. My mom has VERY thin hair as well. She's always had it.. if you want, I can give you her info.
