Looking for a Kids' Hair Salon

Cookie Cutters in New Tampa is really great and totally kid friendly. The kids get to pick a movie to watch while they get their hair cut, the chairs are shaped like cars and planes and stuff like that. There is an indoor climbing area in case you have to wait. They get a treat to take home with them. My son loved it when he was younger. We haven't been in a few years so I would call to make sure they are still there. Its in a shopping plaza on whatever Bruce B Downs turns into in New Tampa. Good luck!

Shortcuts at International Mall is really cute. Seats are little cars (with steering wheels and all) for kids to sit in (on lifts like a salon chair), and they have DVD players in front of each seat showing kids' shows. They do a great job & are quick too. Frequent customer card offers free hair cut after 10 cuts. Address is 2223 N Westshore Blvd, Suite 148, Tampa, FL and phone is ###-###-####.

I don't know of a salon geared towards kids, but I do take my son to a stylist who is really good at cutting kid's hair.

We go to Style Cut Song Salon on 16th St N and 28th Ave N in St. Pete.

The owner, J., is really talented at cutting children's hair. My son loves her.

There is a Kids Clips on East Bay Drive in Largo. It's just for kids. They are pretty quick at getting the kid in there and out.

The is one on East Bay drive in Largo. It has toys, video's, and they can sit on a lion, rocket ship, and two other things (can't remember what they are) I can't remember the name of it though. Kidz Cuts? It's located between Starkey Rd and Seminole Blvd. On the right hand side of the road heading towards the beaches and there is a Bright House location next to it. Sorry I can't help further.

I go to Great Clips on 9th St. North in the Gateway Market Place. The guy that does my hair is absolutely AWESOME and I can't wait until my little guy needs a haircut, he will be the one to do it! Plus, I've seen him cut other children's hair when I've been there and he's great with them. Hope this helps! His name is Daniel. :)
