Hi- I am looking for a new general doctor who is part of the John Muir Network and who works out of WC. Would love a doctor who actually listens and who will help me feel happy and healthy! My current doctor is an older male doctor so I was thinking I would possibly like a female this time- and someone a bit younger. But I am open to any suggestions! Just want a doctor who I will love!!
We see Dr. Rush ###-###-####) in Pleasant Hill. He is male and not young, although I would not say old either. But, we have been with him sense our 5 yr old was born, have been through several medical issues with our kids with him, and feel that he, and his staff, are really wonderful.
A bit farther than Walnut Creek but still in the John Muir network: I've been really impressed by the office of Drs. Mary Sears, Michelle Bricker, and another lady doc whose name I can't remember offhand. My neighbor sees Dr. Bricker and highly recommended the office. Dr. Bricker wasn't accepting new patients at the time but Dr. Sears was, and I've been very impressed by how conscientious, warm, helpful, and courteous the doctors, nurse-practitioner, office staff, and nurses are. They take time to answer your questions, are awesome in prompt follow-up calls if you have lab results, and all in all make you feel very well cared for.

I just switched PC doctors as well. My OB recommended Dr. Tanya Threewitt. She is in either WC or Concord, I can't remember. I have not personally seen her, but my OB says she is awesome. Her number is ###-###-####. Like I said, I dont' have any personal experience with her, but this is my new one! If you go, let me know how she is! Good luck with your search!
