This has been a problem for me too. I fluctuate b/t a DD and DDD, but my back size is 32-34. The only sports bras I have found that offer any support are sport jock. They are most sold in the UK and are expensive. I just order them online.
I am busty. (42 DDD, at least I think) I'm sick and tired of buying bras that warp too quickly, the wires pop out, etc. Does anyone know of a good workout bra for moderate to intense workouts? I tend to like the sports bras that look like a regular bra since they don't smash me down. But, I'm open for a change! lol I enjoy zumba and treadmill/eliptical/weights.

Hi, C.~
I'm not sure where you live, but Fleet Feet Sports in North Wales (www.fleetfeetnorthwales.com) does an amazing job of doing Sports Bra Fittings, especially for bigger busted women. I know several women who have gone there, and swear by them. Hope that helps!
Best,

Try www.titlenine.com, a women's sportswear company.
Try Justmysize website. They have a Brafinder feature that is great. You can narrow down to size and type and they will give you a good selection.
I dont have a recomendation for a sports bra. In general I really like Glamorise brand, not sure if they have a sports bra option.
Good Luck!
Hi C., Go to Lane Bryant and have one of their wonderful assoiciates fit you for a bra correctly! More often than not we are all wearing the wrong size/style of bra and I got great help from them myself over a year ago and the results have been amazing! Once you are properly fitted your bra's will do what they are ment to do and last longer!! Best wishes.
Hi C.,
I feel your pain. Hands down, the best sports bra I've encountered is by Moving Comfort. I specificially recommend the Maia model. You can get it at REI (they have one in Whitemarsh) or at www.rei.com, and I'm sure at other stores. It gives a little separation, not as much as a regular bra, but for support it cannot be beat.
Try it... you'll love it.

I thank you for the question. I am a 38DD and when I am done exercising my chest hurts from the pressure. That is why I am not a runner. HA! I also enjoy Zumba it is my new addiction. I look forward to the responses you get to help me too. I hate the sports bra because they make you have a uniboob and then you have a big bump moving up and down.
Thanks again for the question.

Have you tried the Champion sports bras? That was my favorite (before kids and even bigger chest). I know they go up to a DDD.
I would tell you to think about a breast reduction. I had one when i was sixteen and that was the best thing I did. If you do that, you can wear what ever bra and top you like. In the long run the bra straps will not only cut into your shoulders but you will have back problems. Once you have a breast reduction you will be able to probably have more vigorous work outs with out feeling like you never have enough support. If it is for medical reasons, most insurance companies will pay most of the cost. take care
