Looking for an "Active" Type Class for My Twin 2 Yr Olds

I am looking for some kind of class for my twin 2 yr olds (both girls) in the NW suburbs area (we live in NE Plymouth). Most classes I can find are for during the day but since I also have a 3 yr old and was hoping to take only 1 twin at a time I need to do it during the evenings or Sat. morning so my husband will be home to take the other ones.
I am thinking some kind of gymnastics like gymboree but would be open to pretty much any suggestions as long as it is a "up and moving around, get the energy out" kind of class. My one twin especially needs some run around/wiggle time. I am not looking forward to the cold coming and our time outside getting smaller and smaller, they are going to tear my house apart! :) So need to be proactive and find something to keep them busy before it starts to get crazy cold.
I plan to spend some of my days the Plymouth Fieldhouse, but again, would really like to get them involved in something during the evenings so I can take them one at a time and have some much needed alone time with mommy.
I would prefer not to have to drive too far, especially during the winter months so would really like to keep the location in either Plymouth, southern Maple Grove or the western edges of Crystal or New Hope or pretty close to that general area. I am still pretty new to driving in the Twin Cities...
Thanks
K. H

So What Happened?

Thanks for the info...I have decided to start the girls in gymnastics thru the City of Plymouth Parks and Rec and will try swim lessons perhaps when the weather is a bit warmer.
Thanks again for the help

Have you checked out the local YMCA in your area? They often have a lot of classes for kids. You can also leave your other children in the childcare area. You would have to become a member though. Your local school district probably has a Community Education catalog of classes for both children and adults. Your city Parks and Rec department might offer classes too. We have all of those options in the south metro.

I have had good success with some of the early childhood education classes available through the Anoka-Hennepin school district. I believe most of the district's have ECFE classes and some are available on the weekends and evenings. They also have open play time in the evenings. Also, there is staff available during playtime to help out with the kids and some of the classes have daycare available for other siblings. Good luck.

How about swimming lessons?
It is fun active and you could do it with all your kids or just one at a time.
We go to the Brooklyn Center Community Center ###-###-#### - 6301 Shingle Creek Pkway) and like it! It is not fancy but the price is right and lessons are awesome! It would not be far from Plymouth at all maybe 10-15 minutes. It is a great winter activity and then they are ready for water outside in the summer!

We take our 18 month daughter to Little Gym classes. They are all over the place. We went to the class in St. Louis park, but look online www.littlegym.com and see all the places they hold the class.
