Hi! Have you checked any Children's Hospitals like Arnold Palmer? Or even Ronald McDonald's House? It would be a nice surprise for a sick child to have a stuffed animal to cheer him/her up. Good Luck!
I have boxes full of gently used (many never played with) stuffed animals. They come from a pet free, smoke free home. I am looking for an organization that collects stuffed animals to give out to chilren in need. Any information would be great!

almost any childrens hospital would love to have them for the play room or the ER. Also you can try the Beta center onlake underhill, teenage moms and their kids.
I do not know of one, but if you find one would you please share the info with me? My daughter has tons of stuffed animals we are looking to give away and we don't know where to give them. Thank you!

A Center for Women / Life for Kids is on Wymore Rd. in Winter Park. They have a donation center and collect clothing, toys, and baby equipment for newborns and kids through size 6. Their website is http://www.acenterforwomen.org/.
They are an amazing organization with a wonderful staff.
My girlfriend in Sorrento does this. Let me find out from her and get back to you. Off hand I would suggest the Anthony house in Apopka and the Russell house in Altamonte Springs.
God bless your caring heart.

Great question...plz let us know what happens -- just wondering if possibly the fire stations accept stuffed animals for kids that have just been through an ordeal to calm them down?
