Looking for Diaper Service

I am mother of 10 chldren, the youngest 8 yr old twins. When they were quite small our diaper service went out of business. I bought 8 dozen cloth diapers and washed them myself (in all fairness, my HUSBAND did the laundry) and then I passed them on to my daughter who is about to use them for baby #3. We are preparing for foster children and I need to find a diaper service near me in Brea, or if anyone knows where I can buy a large quantity of cloth diapers at a reasonable price. They are soooo expensive at Babies R Us, and I haven't found them too many places. I would gladly make them if someone knows of a pattern. Thank you.

What can I do next?

I used http://dy-dee.com/ for awhile. They are in Pasadena but I know a mom in Newport Beach that uses the same service. You can also go to http://www.diaperswappers.com/ and post a request of what you are looking for or look at items offered. This is a website where people can sell used diaper items such as covers or prefolds. For patterns try http://www.thebabywearer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44492.... If it won't open join the group, its free. The ones sold in stores are not good quality.

Here are the links off the site if you don't want to join:

Have you tried contacting your local red cross, they have tons of referrals. I know that sounds a bit odd, but the red cross in Yorba Linda takes donations because they have foster kids as well. They may be able to help you. Good luck!

You could try Didee Diaper Service @ (800)803-9333 as per the other mother's advice..they are awesome and I absolutely love the service. I use them for a diaper service for my one baby and it's about $20 a month for about 10 diapers a day and they pick up/drop off weekly. I don't know if they sell diapers but give em a try. I am in Whittier CA. Also, Burlington Coat factory has cloth diapers for sale. There's a BC here in Whittier and also one in Cerritos. They always have a 10% off coupon in the American Baby magazine in the store too! You could also try Craigs List or Freecycle on the web. Good luck!
