Looking for Friends, or Mom's Group!

My name is Jen and I have a 7 month daughter too her name is Rhiannon. I have found myself in the same situation as you trying to meet new prople and wanting to have adult conversation. I also have a 7 year old son and I am in college working towards my nursing degree. It would be great to have someone with a baby the same age to talk to! HI T. I AM FROM READING RIGHT NEAR THE CHARLES EVANS CEMETARY. I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL. I AM A 33 YR OLD MOM OF 4. I AM A STAY AT HOME MOM. I BABYSIT IN MY HOME. Its K. from the moms group. I have found that the best way to make friends is to start out by going on a few group play dates and than from there figure out who you are compatible with and go from there. Even if your children end up being not as close as you may like them to be in age it at least gets you out of the house and gives you a chance to meet new friends for yourself. If your child makes a new friend great if not maybe you will. Also, when you do find someone that you are compatible with try and pick a day that works for both of you and try to meet every week. That way you know that at least one day a week you have plans :) Good Luck!
