We are house hunting this weekend. We are excited about moving to Mansfield from Tennessee. Whenever we move, one of my priorities is to find a new hair stylist. I have naturally curly and very thick hair. I'm very picky about who cuts my hair and their style. Can anyone tell me of a few good salons in the Mansfield area?

I too have naturally curly hair that is somewhat thick. I have a great stylist but she works in Fort Worth. I live right off of I-20 in South Arlington and it takes me about 20 min to get to her salon. Her name is Celeste, she works for Venus and Mars ###-###-####. I have used Daired's in South Arlington. D. is really good. Most recently I have been going to Shelton's in Bedford. Jaime has been doing my hair and I have been very pleased. Beware - both places are a little pricey. $50-70 for haircuts and over $100 for high-lites. The two salons are owned by borthers. They both offer lots of great services.Good Luck. It is so hard to find a new stylist.
Try Daired's in South Arlington (very close to Mansfield) and ask for Donna. I have very long, curly, thick hair and she does a great job. It is a very nice salon but very pricey so be warned. I believe it is $50 for a haircut.
Call Tammy Haddaway at ###-###-####. She has done my hair for almost a year now and I really like her. When we moved to Mansfield I used to drive back to my old town of College Station (3 hr. drive) to get my hair done until I tried Tammy and I stopped doing that. She just bought a new salon and will have a dozen or so stylists working for her. If she can't work with yor hair, then I am sure she has some one there who can.
On another note, where are you house hunting? I have a connection with a builder that is building in my neighborhood and a neighborhood across the street. I go to the Avante salon. It is at Debbie Ln and Matlock. I really like it there. I went to Salon 31 when we first moved here and it was nice as well. It is located just one block south at Country Club.

I have a great stylist her name is Beth. I have been going to her for about 10yrs. now she is great. I have recommended her to friends and family and all love her and most still use only her. She works out of the Legacy Salon in front of the Parks Mall beside Toys R Us, in Arlington. Very close to Mansfield. Her number is ###-###-####.
