The Health Dept is probably going to be your best bet. I think I paid $15 or $20 for my little guy shots.

I got my daughters done through a program called Hot Shots. The medical staff does them at local Fire Stations for free is you have no insurance, are under insured, or are on medicaid. Just Google Hot Shots and you should be able to find it. If not I believe I have the number still. :)

I am an advocate of delayed shots, so my thought would be, what's all the hurry? I don't think he is going to get Polio in the next few weeks while the insurance kicks in. :) all the best, liz

The state provides free shots for non-insured or under-insured families. My husband is self-employed, and our insurance doesn't cover shots. My doctor's office told me to tell the nurse that we needed the "state shots". No charge!

Call or go to nearest wic office and see when the nurses will be next in...they charge $15 I believe per child.
