I am looking for swim lessons for my 8 year old and thought it would be great if I could find a place that would have water aerobics at the same time. I can't seem to locate a place in or near Frisco TX. Any ideas for either or both together would be appreciated. Thanks for your help!
My daughter was only a year, but last year when she had swim lessons, they had water aerobics at the same time at the Natatorium in Allen. Check the city of Allen's website (www.cityofallen.org) and check out their recreation guide. It lists all the classes offered, maybe you can find ones that overlap. Have you also looked into a local YMCA?
Frisco Athletic Center on Preston and Wade .... www.friscofun.org .... the Aquatic Center is included in the fees: indoor and outdor aquatics, slides, pools, play area, splash park, and lessons all day long, and you get all the benefits and classes of the athletic center, too. $60 per month for a family.
There's also the new Frisco Natatorium in downtown near Staley and the stadium off North County, www.friscoisd.org/natatorium
I know the City of Plano recreation centers do too. But, the water aerobics class (shallow water) I had was 60 minutes but the kids' class was 30 minutes.
