Looking for Magic Moon or Custom Furniture

I am looking to buy a twin bedroom set for my daughter. I love the stuff at Magic Moon, Cat and the Fiddle and Stephanie Anne but, not the prices. I have looked on Craig's list already with no luck.

I am trying to find a consignment or resale shop that carries their furniture.

What can I do next?

I, too, wanted the "Magic Moon" look for a crib for my home for my granddaughter but certainly didnt want to pay around a thousand dollars for one. I searched craigslist daily until one came up from Stephanie Ann but I waited too long (a day) to make contact and it was sold. After several weeks of searching CL daily, I got one from Magic Moon (retail $900) for $300. They wanted another $20 for the mattress but let me have it for free when I picked up the bed. Keep searching and act fast if you see something you want!!

Those stores are great and I love them. I get all my baby gifts at Cat and the Fiddle.

I know they don't routinely have sales. However, if you were to offer cash, you might get a discount. Many people will deal if you buy a complete set, pay cash then they avoid fees from credit cards and banks.

We saved a decent amount of money when we paid cash for a total redo our our furnaces, heat pumps, etc., same with complete overhaul of garage doors and hot water heaters.

Can't hurt to try...... Good luck

the (other) TF obviously much older than you!! :)

Try Sugar n' Spice on Hedgcoxe just east of Ohio in Plano. They are a great consignment shop, and I have seen Magic Moon items there a couple of times. Plus, they make sure items are sanitized before they sell them.

It's always hard for me to find ANYTHING I like after looking through the specialty shops. Their stuff is always put together so beautifully. If you look at the baby store (can't think of the name)in Stacy's Furniture, you will see some of the high end brands without the high end prices. Roomstore has a few nice sets too.

Happy shopping!
