Are there any Cheshire moms who are interested in starting a playgroup? I have an 18 month son, Thomas and I am looking to meet some local moms and give him a chance to make some friends. Or if you know of any playgroups that are already organized that we could join, I'd be interested in those too. THanks for your help.
I live in Prospect and would love to join a playgroup! My daughter is only 9 months so I'm not sure if you're looking for other kids closer to your son's age. I have a playgroup that meets once a month that you are also welcome to join. We call it champagne tuesdays :) my email is ____@____.com

I looked for some in Yahoo groups. If you have a yahoo account, sign into your account. Go to the yahoo homepage. Click on groups (left hand side) and search there. I found one in torrington that I belong to that way.
I dont know of any in the area. But i would love to join as well. I live in Waterbury/Prospect line. My daughter turned 18 months on 12/30. I am fulltime working mom so evening and weekends are better for me.

You should check out Mothers & More of Greater New Haven (www.mothersandmorect.com). I'm a stay-at-home-mom of two (one is 2 1/2 and the other is 1 year) in Hamden. Mothers & More is such a great resource. Lots of support, great network of moms. They offer playgroups, moms' nights out, monthly chapter meetings, book club, we do community outreach, and lots of other fun events. Great for help finding a pediatrician, preschool, (plumbers!) etc. etc. etc!!! I'm just so happy I joined that I really want others to join too - together mothers are powerful! :)
