I moved back to the Arlington area about a year and a half ago. I have some friends but not many and only one coulpe with kids my kids ages. Basically I am looking to make friends and have my kids make friends. We love to go the pool (howard moore is great for kids under 7) and the park. I am married however my husband works on oil rigs and is away alot. So its usually just me and the kids. I just want to meet other moms like me. I am a stay at home mom I sell AVON and even am on 2 commities at my daughters school. Thanks
I have a relatively inactive playgroup that I run. Every time we get a new person, we get inspired to do more. I'm hoping to light a fire under everyone anyway. Check out www.meetup.com You can specify what type of group you would like to belong to and they send you notifications of things in your area that you might want to join.
you can find lots of playgroups at meetup.com - mine is in the Arlington/ Grand prarie area and it's great- lots of people and tons of activities to choose from!

Having fellowship with others can be so encouraging! You may want to try a church in your area. Many times they have organized activities already. MOPS is a national moms group that is usually found in all areas that you can goggle.
