Hey D.,
Congrats on the pregnancy and your desire and proactive efforts for a successful natural VBAC!! I work with alot of the local OB offices as they refer to my practice and so I have heard alot of "inside scoop" and referrals from the pregnant ladies I treat. That being said I think you have a few options out there that are worth a call and visit to the office to get a feel for yourself. The ones that instantly came to mind were: Triangle OB- Wake Med Cary (they have midwives on staff), Atrium OB - REX (great reports on all their docs that I have heard), and Alan Holton.
I do also recommend using a Doula and searching for one that fits with your personality. Good resource is TriangleBirthNetwork.com and I personally used Julie McBurney ###-###-#### for both of mine, you can call any of them for info and an initial interview/meet up, they all work well together in wanting to help people find a good fit.
Also if you are interested at all, I work with ladies by making sure their pelvis is in the best alignment through modified adjusting as I have a diplomate in pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic which takes an additional 3-4 years post doctorate training.
As I mentioned before, you do have some great offices around here for your goal, so happy hunting and all the best to you. I also have a 2.5yo and a 6 mo old, it is so fun, busy and the greatest thing ever to be a parent!
