Looking for Splash Park in Plano

I am organizing a playdate for lots of friends with toddlers/preschoolers and I need to know if you all know of a spray/splash park you can recommend in the Plano area. I already know of all the ones in McKinney and Celebration Park in Allen, but the playdate this time is in Plano. The park needs to be small enough where we can keep an eye on our kids...I would hold it at Celebration, but it's such a huge park when you have more than one child to keep track of. If you have any ideas please share! :-) Thank you in advance!

Hi S., there isn't a splash park in Plano. Can you believe it, we have everything else! There are several I can recommend though. One is in Allen off of East Main called Celebration Park and there is another at Finch Park in McKinney that we LOVE. There is shade and two climbing structures as well, so lots to do! There is another in Eldorado(McKinney) called Aviator and you may want to look that one up but I haven't been there so can't give an honest opinion. Blessings, J.

Plano used to have a splash park over at the rec center by Quad C at Spring Creek and Jupiter. I have not been in ages so I dont know if things have changed but I used to meet friends with our kiddos there and play outside or inside.

This is a response I got when emailing their Parks and Rec Department. I might suggest everyone let them know that there is a need/want...

We have a small splash pad at Plano Aquatic Center , 2301 Westside Drive . If you have a young child, you might also want to consider the activity pool at Jack Carter Pool, 2800 Maumelle Drive . It has a separate pool/play area for children younger than seven with a maximum water depth of 18”.

Sincerely,

Amy

There is Jack Carter park..you can look it up on the Plano Rec site.
It is a playground within a circular zero entry pool...I think the maximum depth is 2 feet. There are tons of lifeguards and it is in a fenced off area. I believe it is $2.00 to get in.

There is a splash park in far north Dallas at Hillcrest and Campbell..

Oak Point Rec Center in Plano at Jupiter and Spring creek has a fantastic splash pool...zero entry and shallow. This one does not open until 1 pm though. Also on the website. I believe children under $5.00 are free and grown ups are $3.00.

I don't know of any true splash parks that do not have pools.

good luck!
