The Shelton School has a great Summer Program for exactly that kind of stuff. Just go to their website... http://www.shelton.org
Hello, I have a second grader who needs some help developing good study habits, organizational skills and focus. Is anyone aware of any summer camps that address these types of issues? He likely has ADD and we will be getting him tested. But I would like for him to develop skills to deal with it if that can work rather than giving him meds. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not sure, but have you looked at one of these area learning centers...like KUMON?
Coincidentally, I got an email today about finding good summer camps.. I didn't explore the email much, but here's the link! Good luck!!

I don't know of any summer camps, but thought I'd share this...
I attended an interesting session at my daughter's school today given by a child psychologist who mentioned often kids with anxiety are diagnosed at ADHD, but if the anxiety is addressed, the ADHD symptoms go away. It might be something to explore in addition to summer camps since you mentioned you're trying to stay away from medications.
