Hello. I am a stay at home mom of 3 children...7, 3 and 8 months. I recently quit my job to be a stay at home wife and mother. I absolutely love it! I get to spend more time with my children and husband. Prior to quitting my job, I had been making more money than my husband. And after many months of debating, my husband and I felt that this was the right decision to make for our family. I have to admit, I thought that it would be a smooth transition for me...and it was for the most part. Taking care of my husband, children & daily chores needed no adjusting to. I have been doing that for almost 8 years now. What I needed to adjust to was 1) not really leaving the house by myself & 2) not making ANY money. Shortly after I quit my job, I began looking for some sort of work that I could do from home. Most of the "jobs" that I came across were get rich quick schemes. It wasn't until I had been at a county fair, that I found my next job. There was a woman at a booth with many books in front of her. I asked if I could have one. She said yes & I grabbed one, thanked her & kept walking. As I was walking with my family, I began looking at the books. I was very surprised to see such wonderful, daily products at such great prices. I figured that I would probably order some items. It wasn't until my mother saw the books, that working for the company crossed my mind. My mother encouraged me to call the woman who's name was on the back of the book. I asked her about becoming a representative. She was very helpful and shortly after talking with her, I thought that I would give it a try. What did I have to lose? There was a very small start up fee, and I could do it at my own pace. I have to say that I absolutely love it! I sell everything from kitchen utensils, to bathroom acceceries, to toys, to home decorations, and more. As I said, the prices are great & I use a lot of the items in and around my house. I am looking for a few people who live in the WNY area to join me. Whether it is to start up on your own, or just to help me out with parties part-time. Hi ya I do a really fun job where I can take my children with me. I work for a company called Noah's Ark Animal Workshop. I make my own schedule and can bring my children to the events, my 3 yr. old even helps. You do birthday parties, daycares, fundraisers. There is minimal investment to start. You don't have to keep inventory either if you don't want to. We are having a special right now. hi, i was a full time office manager and made pretty good money, my commute was over 2 hours a day with traffic so when i got pregnant, i planned on staying with the job that i had, i just hoped that my employers would accomodate a more flexible schedule. much to my dismay, they would not adjust my hours, therefore i made a choice to leave and find something more local and part time(legal assistant). my husband is NYPD so there is a money issue, we cant live the same life we did financially, but it is definitely worth getting to spend most of my day with my daughter, eventually i will probably have to go back to a full time position.

My husband and I have a work from home job, and three kids ages 6,5 & 3. We are Shaklee distributors on a part-time basis. It is an internet based business and you can do it from not only the US, but it is international. Shaklee has been in business for 52 years and they are a natural health and wellness company and they do their own research, have been published in medical journals etc.

I am in the exact same boat as you are!!! My husband is a firefighter as well, so I definitely know the crazy schedule!!! I work from home with an adult novelty party plan company and I love it. Yeah, you have to be open minded with it, lol, but you can also make some serious cash!!! Best of all, you can start for just $25. Or you can purchase a kit for half price in March. I have so much fun doing these parties. Its really easy to do...and you'll make on average $150 to 200 for the 2 hours that you are at someones house.
