Have you tried Tupperware it's great I sell it for a second (job) and have fun with it. I do book orders, fundraisers, home parties. I also sell Home and Garden Party which is great because they have alittle more than Tupperware but I love both of them. Just send me an email and we can keep in touch if you are wanting to sell.

Hi G. B. Before you begin you need to know how much you are willing to put out in up-front costs. Will you get training and from whom? Can you work when you want & as much/little as you want? Is the product/products consumable so you can establish repeat sales? Is it a growing company/industry? Can you work alone yet have support when you need it? I started a home business 2 yrs ago at age 52, along side a full-time job, and I can teach/train you besides being able to get online training 24/7 whenever you want. I don't know if you've considered direct sales, but it is a great way to get out of the house, make extra money, get great tax deductions and give you a sense of fulfillment. I see others have offered their business, and I am going to offer mine....I'm with Wildtree...It's very new to this part of the country, as of now I and one other gal do this in Overland Park. It's an ALL NATURAL food company. Everything is free from MSG, preservatives, additives and artificial colos. I'd love to tell you more if you are interested. Try Kaufman's Fast Trac program (just type Fast Trac into your browser, you'll find it). Its 11 weeks (1 day a week) that teaches you every thing you need to know to start a business. I went through it three years ago, and I'm still using things I learned in my 3 year old business. The cost is about $600 but well worth it (they also have scholarships). The Missouri and Kansas Women's Business Centers are also excellent sources of information Good luck, having your own business can be very satisfying.

Not sure where you live, but most cities have a small business administration. They will have a lot of information on starting your own business. Also, to get a tax id, go online to the tax commission for your state. If you live in Oklahoma, the website is: http://www.oktax.state.ok.us/
I think you can fill out forms online. If you wish to incorporate for tax reasons, go to the secretary of state website. You can print off the form there. It is an easy process. You may even check at the local Jr. College and see if they offer a class on starting your own business. Could be a few months of good preparation can really make the difference in success.

Saw your post from a time back and thought I'd share with you what I shared with a couple of others. I think this is one opportunity you'd love and wouldn't want to pass up on.

I'm a 39 year old SAHM and love what I do! But, to make things a little easier financially on our family I signed up as an Indep Avon Sales Rep.
