It may help to know that the Gangnam District in Seoul Korea is a lot like Beverly Hills meets Manhattan poshest area. It's extremely wealthy. Hence a lot of the over the top luxe references in the video.

No movie - it's a hit song from South Korea. The guy who sings it, Psy, is famous in South Korea and other countries too, including America. He was on the Ellen Degeneres show a while back.
