If it's a dry erase marker, I would just accept that fact that the marker is there. Dry erase markers do NOT come off of anything. Trust me, I've had my share of destroyed things from dry erase markers.

Sharpies might be removed but it could take a lot of work but it's always worth trying. First, try using finger nail polish remover on a Q-tip and rub gently at the stain. If that doesn't work, try straight acetone. IF that doesn't yield any results, try the Mr.Clean Magic eraser. Honestly, I don't think there is anything the Magic eraser won't remove. If nothing works, then search online and see what you find. Good luck!

Hey L.,
I just got ink pen off of our light yellow leather couch with the magic eraser. It did get it off although the texture feels different in the spot that I cleaned it. But try that, it is in the cleaning isle and it works on everything you can't get off any other way. L. Z.

There is a local store called Tandy Leather. Call them before using any chemicals on your couch and ask for advice

Mr Clean sponges!!! I love them! I use them on all my furniture-sofa, chairs ect. Just beware that they are harmful to children! So please keep children away while cleaning! Good Luck!

Lynn, I have stuff called Grandma's Secret Spot Remover and it gets EVERYTHING out of clothing...even 3 month old ink stains. I'm not sure how it would be on leather, but I got it at Michael's craft stores, up by the register.
Good luck!!

Hi Lynn, you may want to try "Magic Eraser". You can find it anywhere (Target,Walmart,Publix). It is great at taking off marks/pens off walls and tables. I would be careful and first try it somewhere on the bottom of your couch to make sure it does not ruin the leather. Also, you may want to check the furniture store where you got the couch. It may be covered by some type of warranty. Hope that helps you. Good luck. S.

Hey Lynn,

I had a mark on my kitchen floor that NOTHING would get up until I tried a product called SOL U MEL. You can only get this product through an online company. I love their products so much, I now market for them. Please email me if you'd like to know how you can order it. Or if you find something else that works, I'd like to know that too!

Best to you!
